Who is the Hero?

I have been struggling with how to start this website and what to put on it. I have for a long time enjoyed building websites and have done that professionally for many years, but always building websites for someone else. I have struggled with though what do I put on my own site. What content am I creating that is not just more of the same info that you can get somewhere else. Do I do news about some of my favorite things? Well that would just be regurgitation. One thing I don’t like about many sites is they are not brining their own content they are just saying the same thing that many other sites already have. Well I think I have finally cracked what I want to do here and hopefully you will enjoy coming along for the ride.

I am a big comic book guy, I have read and read and read. I have enjoyed comics since long before they were the cool thing. In 8th grade I remember going to a party and instead of socializing I went and hung out with the host’s younger brother and just read comics for a while. Comics will have a heavy influence on this website.

A friend of mine and I have been having years long conversations about Who is the Hero? we have mostly come to the conclusion of it depends on who you ask. If you ask Lex Luthor he is the Hero, if you ask Kingpin he is the Hero. If you ask Superman, well he might not say he is the Hero because he is humble, but Batman would say Superman is the Hero.

Comics will not be the only influence on this site, nor even fiction. Some of content on this site will come from real life examples. During a recent visit with another friend of mine we were discussing who has left an influence on us. Sometimes people are a Hero to us, but not in the SuperHero kind of way. These are people that just go about doing their life and well sometimes that makes them a Hero.
